Here's a step-by-step guide to cleaning your new piercings:

Before cleaning fresh piercings, always clean and disinfect your hands thoroughly.

Grab your cotton swabs and saline solution. For piercings, use only sterile 0.9% saline solution, without additives (read the label), in a pressurized container with a spray nozzle.

Place the cotton swab next to the piercing and spray the saline solution directly onto the affected area, saturating both the cotton swab and the piercing well.

Gently clean both sides of the piercing and the jewelry. Make sure to remove all debris and debris.

DRY! Take a dry cotton swab and dry the piercing and the surrounding area. It's just as important to dry piercings thoroughly as it is to clean them! Piercings don't like moisture, and not drying them properly can cause irritation or bumps.
